#My review on "e.l.f All Over Cover Stick"
Here's my review on "e.l.f All Over Cover Stick"; 3 stars
They're called "All Over Cover Sticks" because you can use them everywhere on your face, but when I tried them as an eyeshadow and they were AWFUL. I've never found a makeup that cakes and creases so bad. They can feel pretty sticky and damp when using them as a blush, but they are AMAZING on the lips to be used for a tanning Summer look. So no, I do not recommend this product for the eyes and face, but I do recommend them for the lips.

#Here's my review on "L.A. Colors Jumbo Eye Pencil"
Here's my review on "L.A. Colors Jumbo Eye Pencil"; 3 stars
I love this brand for their lipgloss, and I decided to span out to their eye makeup. I tried "Cherry Blossom" before going to co-op (homeschooled) one day (I used this one first because it was light colored enough to where it wouldn't be too easy to notice if it ended up not looking good) and checked on it about 2 hours later and it was caking and creasing on my lids. The actual pencils have a nice consistently and the colors in the series are beautiful, but they aren't very good for eye makeup. They're actually really good for lip stains. They have lots of pinks, and then some of the more interesting colors like blues and purples (If you're into those kinds of shades.). So no, I do not recommend this for eyes, but yes, I do recommend this for lips.

#My review on "e.l.f Expert Liquid Liner"
Here's my review on "e.l.f Expert Liquid Liner"; 5 stars
I LOVE this!!! I got 2 free from elfcosmetics.com (Normally $2.00 each) during their free gift with every online purchase season (Sadly not going on right now. ) and I love them. I'd been trying to find a good eyeliner, and this is the best one yet. It applies smoothly and has great coverage, it's long-lasting, and the applicator is PERFECT! It's really easy to use for any liquid liner beginner, and provides amazing precision. I love using it for subtle lines, but it's actually really amazing for more dynamic cat eyes and wings too. Yes, as you can see, I do recommend this product. Btw, if you are new to shopping at elfcosmetics.com, be sure to sign up for their email program on their website to receive special offers, hear about when there is free shipping, and get free shipping on your first order!

Hey again! I've decided not to delete or edit the post about fashion Friday, but write a new one instead. It occurred to me that I post about trendy shoes, clothes, and makeup everyday, so what makes Friday really special (Besides that it's the start of the weekend. Lol) is that all "Shop it or drop it"s will be held on that day of the week. Thanks for reading and I'll be blogging more soon! ;)
#Special announcement
Hey again! This is the announcement I was talking about. Friday is now "Fashion Friday" on 2drawlife! Every Friday I'll be posting pics of trendy shoes, clothes, makeup, and even some "Shop it or drop it"s! Log on every Friday at 3:00 PM E.S.T!
#My review on "e.l.f Individual Lash Kit"
Here's my review on "e.l.f Individual Lash Kit"; 4 stars
E.l.f's Individual Lash Kit comes with 18 individual lashes and 1 tube of lash glue, and sells for normally a dollar. The lashes are AMAZING!!! the only thing I don't like about this product is the lash glue. It's very stiff and doesn't hold the lashes in place. This product would get 5 stars if the glue wasn't so bad. Other than that I do recommend this product. The lashes are perfect and great for both natural AND dramatic looks. I would buy this again, but just buy a different glue than the one in the package. ;)

#Review on "Sinful Colors OPALESCENT" Nail Polish (1516; Prized Plume)
Here's my review on "Sinful Colors OPALESCENT" Nail Polish (1516; Prized Plume); 2 stars
I bought this a couple months ago (forgot to blog about it.) when I saw it at the store while looking for new nail polish colors, and I was really disappointed. It was supposed to give an opalescent effect and you could even put it over a solid nail polish color to make it look almost like an opalescent ombre, but it did not work. The colors in the series are so bold not matter how little you put on it masks the nail color underneath, and it doesn't quite provide that "opalescent" look that company was promising. It looks like just about any other shiny nail color. The actual shades are nice though, so that's why it's getting 2 stars instead of 1. I seriously doubt I'll ever be buying more of these though.

#How-to on blog business cards
Hey again! Here is my how-to guide on picking, creating, editing, and giving away business cards to promote your blog. Here are the basics and some of the questions I asked myself when I first started designing cards for my blog (I used vistaprint.com);
The questions I asked myself;
The answers to them;
Basic tips to remember;
Giving away your new biz cards!;
Giving away cards is pretty easy. Here's what you do;
It's pretty simple. And if someone rejects your card or refuses to read your blog, do not sweat it. Not everyone likes the same thing, and as a good friend told me, "Sometimes haters are just confused admirers". Another way to advertise is by leaving cards somewhere. I don't mean leaving irrelevant cards like tow services and car insurance in JCPenny (That actually seems to happen a lot.) I mean putting them in places more subtle, but relevant. This is where you can start using some creativity. Don't get TOO creative though. Lol
Here are some simple ways;
3. Lastly, ALWAYS carry cards with you. You may not know if you'll use them, or if you're going to leave one somewhere for someone to find, but always carry some with you. Here's a link for some really good cases;

They're thinner than the average wallet and the pictures of all the shades they have are pretty true to color. ;)
Sorry this post ended up being so long. Lol I hope this helps with picking, creating, editing, and giving away business cards if you plan on getting into them as a form for blog advertising. Thanks for readind, and I'll be blogging more soon! ;)
The questions I asked myself;
- What do I want the face to look like?
- What color do I prefer?
- What do I want them to say?
- Is there a bold statement on my blog I could incorporate into my cards?
The answers to them;
- I know I'll want something bold with dynamic lines (Vistaprint actually had settings on the left side of the card page for that)
- My blogs logo is pink, and it's one of my fave colors. I try to echo shades of pin throughout, so I could do something in that color scheme (They have a setting also on the left of the page for what color you want too. ;) )
- I decided what was important for my blog to say just by thinking about the basics. They should say;
- The blogs name at the top
- The catchphrase at the bottom of the name (If you have a catchphrase)
- In the info area put the blogs address and social media accounts (I found that it's actually better to put just the facebook page rather than every single account their is. You can also add your twitter if you want.)
- That the card is advertising a blog (E.x. "Personal blog" or "Fashion blog" in the info area.)
Basic tips to remember;
- Find a template that explains your blog (E.x. If you have a blog about hair styling, find one that has hair styling related images on it (E.x. for this E.x. Scissors or salon settings. And be sure to mention what your blog is about on the info section of your card, making sure it coming before the address and social media.)
- Don't use too much of one color (E.x. nothing but gray colors for a neon color blog)
- Avoid using cursive font in important areas (E.x. Blog address and social media)
- Don't use too many punctuation marks like "!" and "?" unless you have a kind of crazy blog (And you don't need to use periods to end everything.)
- You do NOT have to make your blog business cards look exactly like your blog. I mean making look like if you dragged your finger on it it might actually scroll down. You want it to "represent" your blog, not BE your blog.
Giving away your new biz cards!;
Giving away cards is pretty easy. Here's what you do;
- Hand them a card.
- Say "This is for my blog! I think you'll like it." or "This is a card for my blog! Have you ever read it?"
- If they say no, they have never read it, say "I think you'll like it, I blog about "insert subject here"" or "I blog about "insert subject here""

This is where you can start using some creativity. Don't get TOO creative though. Lol
Here are some simple ways;
- Library books; Almost every beauty blogger goes to the library some inspo, find something new, or just to look around. Yes, we read. Lol What I usually do is before returning my books, I stick a card in a random page. No, I can't track whether or not it's actually working, but I have been saying a rather large spike in my views and plus ones the past few weeks. :) I actually printing all the info from the cards since I hadn't ordered them yet at the time on regular paper and cut them into long strips so they were more like book marks.

#Lauren LA tips; Perfume buying tip
Perfume buying tip;
When looking for a perfume to wear as your "signature scent", sometimes it's best to buy a sampler or roll-on pack before you decide. Like the Marc Jacobs roll-on set of 3 perfumes, featuring "Daisy", "Daisy Dream", and my fave, "Eau So Fresh", available at most Macy's. It's a great way to figure out what perfume you like the most and which you'd be more likely to wear on a day to day basis. Plus, they're travel sized so you can take them anywhere!

#Quick tips for dry, cracked, nails from excessive nail polish chipping
Hey again! Do you ever chip away at your nail polish and find out that all that chipping lead to stripping away the surface of your nails and leaving them dry, cracked, and rough?
Everybody has been guilty of this, whether it's not wanting to use nail polish while at home, or just boredom while in the grocery store. But don't worry, I've figured out a way that doesn't require a bunch of time trying to fix these issues or the horrible smell of nails product chemicals. Plus, this trick can be done anytime, anywhere! And all you need is lotion.
1. Apply a small dab of lotion to the surface of the nail;
2. Rub the lotion on the nail and around the area of the nail. This infuses the moisture in without the back fire of certain chemicals in normal cuticle products like oils and scrubs. Wipe off excess lotion if needed.
The results? See for yourself;
The PERFECT on-the-go nail treatment without taking up more space in your purse!
Hope this helps next time you get into another mani-pedi emergency. Thanks for reading, and I'll be blogging more soon! ;)
