#is "Geek chic" really trendy???

Is "geek chic" really what we think it is? Here's the scoop of what "geek chic" is really about. Normally it's a by geeks for geeks type of thing, but now at days it's almost like a desperate  CRY for attention. Really? suspenders, fake giant glasses, hair in a bun AND the all the off clothing and jewelry choices?! The only thing they haven't done is carry open tubes of glitter under their tutu's because they think that STARTS to become to much! The truth about "geek chic" is that it is NOT and actual style! It's just a bunch of girls thinking "oh! this must be trendy, hip, and groovy!" and we only say 2 of those words. They have a tendency to think that they're making a good statement when that couldn't be any farther from the truth! We've seen it so many times we can see right through the act. They keep thinking It'll start a whole revolution or something. and it's later after that revolution started and nothing has actually happened...... And the NEON! Yes, it is meant to be something you add to an outfit! But not wear as a whole entire outfit! Ugh, it actually gets annoying sometimes. But one thing's for sure. It kinda creep and it's most likely not to go far. So next  time you decide you really want to get a pair of attitude (fake) glasses, which by the way, doesn't make you look like you have a real voice or that you have some big authority and confidence. It makes you look like you seem less confident and more vulnerable. Trust me, whether the attitude glasses are big or small, they don't make you look fashionable or chic in any sort of way! And  90% of attitude glasses can be spotted from a mile away these days because the style every girl seems to pick are SO typical now! Even a lot of different types of attitude glasses! So do I approve of "geek chic"? No, not really. But you can put on a crazy outfit and see for yourself if "geek chic" is really the way to go. +1 if you get what I mean! <'U'>

#same "trendy look" every summer......

Hey everybody! It's L again. so how was school? I know what everybody's thinking now. "ending soon. THANK GOD!" i know. And can you believe that this years summer outfits are the same as last year AGAIN?! *sigh* every single girl just thinks it's ALWAYS in style. all they think they have to wear is short shorts, a weird and creepy T-shirt, and a pair of flip flops to go with their over the top too flashy in a REALLY bed way fedora just so we know they think they're all that. aren't you ever tired of that? same thing every time. can't they at least wear something that ISN'T from the 80's? how about WE try to start a new style. you ca try to invent a new style if you want to. you can start something new and tell me the outcome! <'U'>

We all know it, everybody has a sweet tooth! usually you would typically eat ice cream or some candy, but I like going to Menchies. they have so many different frozen yogurts! and don't let the frozen yogurt thing fool you, it's like a step up from frozen yogurt. and they have SO many toppings and samples so you know which one you actually want. they also have frozen yogurt with low calorie, lactose free, no nuts, and other healthy choices (although it doesn't taste all that healthy. lol). #"First Watch; Daytime Caf'e" review

Today I went to this daytime cafe called FIRST WATCH and it wasn't the best place in the world to eat at....

A few months ago I went to breakfast with one of my friends, and we went to FIRST WATCH DAYTIME CAFÉ. The décor was that now becoming typical abstract fruity type of thing. Some of the servers seemed really nice and friendly, but some would make you wanna scream. The food took a while and by the time it came out my sandwich was dripping and soggy. It tasted like it sat around for a little while. One of the employees were so rude she smacked her tea pitcher that she was slinging around hit my bag so hard it made my chair move! And she didn’t even say a thing! She just looked over her shoulder like she was all that and went into the kitchen! By the time we were done and had gotten in the our car, we started talking about how that really wasn’t worth waking up at 7 in the morning for and waiting for a table. I really don’t think I would recommend going there for breakfast OR lunch. But you can try it for yourself if you want. and don't forget to leave me a comment!

Hey, you know how everyone wants to get rid of clothes so they can get more? don't throw them out! donate them! better yet, organize a closet clean out! gather a group of friends that are all getting ready to get rid of the clothes they don't want anymore and everyone can have theirs picks. so try a closet clean out group!

#Your style

Before I start blogging about fashion, let me explain to you how it works. You know how these days you look at an outfit and think “wow! That is SO out there! I don’t think that’s something I could ever wear!” well, theirs a chance DJ Tanner from full house wore it because what goes through people’s minds is “well, since nobody else is wearing it right now then I could bring it back!” but that means it’s just a never ending circle of what we wore back then and we should wear it now and what we wore last year and now we should wear that again! Do you want to keep buying clothes to find out the stuff you just got rid of is in style, keep hoarding clothes until you don’t have any more space, or do you wanna start a new style? Don’t fall for the stupid short shorts and T-shirts thing is SO in now anymore! Don’t wear what you think is weird or stupid because you think it's "in style" or "so trending"! everyone has a style that people won't judge in a way that makes you think things like "oh, now I have to change again...." try going to thrift stores! they all kinds of clothing and accessories that will look expensive but won't empty your wallet.

Have you ever heard of a brand called WHITE RAIN? I have. I tried their hair spray and YOU NEED TO TRY IT! It kept my hair in place all day! I had never even heard of it until I needed something that could help me keep my hair in place and didn’t empty my wallet. WHITE RAIN is an awesome brand for hairspray. It’s available at major grocery and is under $5 for the large canister, so go out and try it! Don’t forget to give me your feedback!  

#Another weekend hair disaster......

We’ve all been there…..another weekend hair disaster. The rolling and curling up in your bed comfortably as you sleep, then realizing in the morning that you can’t even brush your hair without the pain of all the brush pulling and breaking it. And then looking like a mess as walk around with your BFF’s or just hangout wherever. Stay calm! There is a solution! When you shampoo and condition your hair in the shower, comb through your conditioner and then rinse with cold water. I suggest CONAIR STYLING COMB because it can be used in and outside of the shower. They also last longer than most professional combs. And if you really want to look like you spent time on your hair because you actually care about how you look on the weekends instead of looking as if you want to walk around everywhere in your PJ’s, (I’ve felt that way too, so you’re not alone!) then use hair curlers. I use CONAIR FOAM ROLLERS. The ones I have are Xtra large and come in a 12 pack, but I recommend CONAIR’S small foam rollers for short hair. And if those curls are annoying you because they’re getting up in your face or just don’t feel the way you want them to, them put your hair in a scrunchy. CONAIR also makes REALLY good scrunchies. The best part is that it’s all under $10! The CONAIR products can be purchased at a Walmart and drug store near you! Try it out and me your comments! <’U’>

#Lipstick #trying out the natural colors?

Are you trying natural’s lipstick colors to refresh your look or just to give it a try? Either way, I know how to make your lips POP without them looking very Unnatural! You’ll need MAYBELLINE NEW YORK LIP LINER (ask a sales associate for help finding the perfect shade.), you can choose from REVOLON LIP
STAIN, or WET N WILD LIPSTICK (Just Peachy#903C), and make sure you haven’t run out of your fave chap stick!

FIRST, it’s just like putting on lipstick. Apply one thin swipe of chap stick (too much will make the lip stain oily and see through.), SECOND, line your lips to define the shape and keep your lip stain from bleeding (the darker the stain the more liner you have to put on.).  THIRD, apply lip stain on BOTTOM LIP ONLY so you don’t put too much on. Rub your lips together to spread it out, and you’re done!  If you feel like you don’t stand out as much as you want to, then apply a thin layer of lip gloss to your lips. I recommend something clear.
